Product Overview
Barbed wire is an isolation and protective net made by a fully automatic barbed wire machine that wraps the barbed wire on the main wire (strand wire) and undergoes various weaving processes. Commonly known as Tribulus terrestris, barbed wire, or barbed wire fencing. There are three twisting methods: forward twist, reverse twist, and forward-reverse twist.
Barbed wire serves as a modern security fencing material, acting as a deterrent to perimeter intruders with piercing and cutting razor blades mounted at the top of walls. Galvanized barbed wire offers excellent protection against corrosion and oxidation caused by atmospheric conditions. Its high resistance allows for greater spacing between fencing posts.
Twisting Methods
- Positive Twisting: Two or more iron wires are twisted into a double-strand wire rope, then the barbed wire is wrapped around the double-strand iron wire.
- Reverse Twisting: Barbed wire is first wrapped around the main wire (single wire), then another wire is added and twisted into a double-strand barbed wire.
- Positive and Reverse Twisting: Twisting occurs in the opposite direction from where the barbed wire wraps the main wire, not twisting in one direction only.
